We are facing three interconnected global crises: the loss of biodiversity, climate change, and the need for social justice. Western conservation models are failing us. Indigenous territories hold 80% of the world’s remaining biodiversity. A different conservation movement is needed: one rooted in relationship and the Indigenous ways of knowing—one that is Indigenous-led.
